Committed to the long run
Characterised by patience, our journey has been a quiet pursuit of creating and making a difference in the long run.
Aged on lees for a minimum of three years, we’ve dedicated all our cider making processes to methode traditionelle techniques. While it requires more of our time, patience, and attention, we’ve done this to create a more mature, complex, and sparkling-style cider that’s unique in the market. Hands-on in our approach and limited in release, our products are worth waiting for.
This patience has also been applied to our farm, The Dales. Over many long days and late nights, we’ve transformed the property with regenerative and closed-loop practices, to a point where it now helps the local wildlife thrive and supports our cider and wine production.
Just like our ciders, life is not one dimensional. As we look to the future of Brady’s Lookout Cider, we’re working to find the balance between an appreciation of the unique and making a positive contribution to the environment.
"For us it’s like wine - we really want to create that nuance in the cider that’s different from everyone else.
But we also want to create that curiosity about why we’re caring for the environment. We hope to encourage other people so that it’s not so daunting for them."
— Caro Brown, Cider Maker
We’re farmers for climate action
As farmers, we understand the challenges of managing the seasons and the value of maintaining the diversity of our plants and animals. This is a major part of how and why we farm. The reality is that our changing climate is making a sustainable future harder for all.
We have been members of Farmers for Climate Action for some time now. FCA is non-partisan and non-profit movement. It seeks to encourage multi-partisan ambitious climate solutions both on and off farm.
